I am an experienced secondary maths teacher with over 20 years experience. Throughout my teaching career, I have specialised in supporting learners with SpLDs or neurodiversity providing small group support to build student confidence and resilience in order to overcome maths difficulties and/or maths anxiety and to achieve academic success. By using a range of strategies and teaching techniques including a multisensory approach, my teaching focusses on building confidence and resilience, supporting learners to understand mathematical concepts and finding ways to overcome any barriers.
I am also fully qualified and accredited with PATOSS and the BDA to provide formal diagnostic assessments for Dyscalculia and Examination Access Arrangements.
